Sonja is Chief Financial Officer at Tristone Flowtech Group, a global tier-one automotive supply firm with more than 300 M€ sales and 5.000 employees worldwide at 12 production sites on three continents.   She has over 20 years’ experience in finance, strategy and business management in Germany, Canada, Asia, and sub-saharan African, for the last decade in the CFO function.  Prior to joining Tristone, Sonja was member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer at MKOPA solar (Kenya), and at ADC African Development Corporation AG (Germany).  Sonja was born and raised in small town Canada, studied Business Administration at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and completed her MBA at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, where she maintains an active role at present as speaker and contributor to the MBA program.   She is married and has two lively young daughters.  When not at work, family and fitness are top priorities.  She has been living and working in Germany since 2006.
